Oktoberfest San Antonio

October 5–6 & 12–13

Celebrate this annual German holiday at Beethoven Maennerchor’s amazing Oktoberfest event, featuring live music, food, beer, and an array of German specialties. This fun event runs two weekends in October from 5 p.m. to midnight each night.

San Antonio Beer Festival

October 20

With more than 450 craft beers from over 150 breweries from around the world, the San Antonio Beer Festival is the place to be for beer lovers. In addition to the huge selection of beer on top, this unique event also features live music, food vendors, games, and an array of wines and ciders to choose from. 

Mala Luna Music Festival

October 27–28

Featuring an amazing lineup with both national headliners and homegrown artists, Mala Luna Music Festival is a unique cultural event. On top of the great music, this event also gives back—a portion of the proceeds from the festival will be donated to Network for Young Artists.

El Dia de los Muertos Celebration

October 27–28

This annual event brings traditional art and culture together to celebrate the Day of the Dead. With a variety of cultural activities, including the largest open alter exhibition in the city, El Di de los Muertos Celebration has so much to offer—from a dance procession to live poetry. 

Diwali Festival of Lights

November 3

The Diwali Festival of Lights event features a variety of amazing performances celebrating Indian culture and tradition. Each activity at the event—from the food to the traditional Indian dance—are carefully chosen to provide residents with an authentic experience. 

Luminaria Contemporary Arts Festival
November 9

This amazing night festival spotlights San Antonio’s best contemporary artists working in various media. This year, Luminaria will take over the city to provide unique performances and cutting-edge art displays throughout San Antonio.

Holiday River Parade and Lighting Ceremony

November 23

Kick off the holiday season with this fun annual event, featuring 28 decorated floats adorn the river in a beautiful nighttime parade. As the Holiday River Parade travels through the city, you’ll enjoy thousands of twinkling lights illuminating the River Walk.
