One of the questions I often get asked is, “How’s the market doing?” Here are a few things you should know:
We’re currently in a seller’s market because we have low inventory but many buyers in the marketplace. If your home is in great condition and priced correctly, you’ll sell very quickly.
If you’re a buyer, the market is extremely competitive these days, so be prepared. Have a pre-approval letter, know what you can afford, have all your ducks in a row when you make an offer, and work with a professional real estate agent to ensure your offer is presented in the best light. Price isn’t the only important thing to a seller—they may want specific terms. Also, writing a letter to the seller that sets you apart as a person rather than just figures on a form can make a huge difference.
