A few tips to help you prepare your home for the fall season.
After a hot summer, fall is almost here. Kids are back in school, and we’re spending more time inside. Is your home fully prepared for the change in season? Today I’m sharing a few fall maintenance tips for your property.
First, you need to clean your gutters and fireplace to avoid problems later. Second, if you plan on having a fall garden, build one now. Third, do your big projects outside and inside your home. This may be the best time to paint your house, update the porch, replace your carpet, etc. If you’re selling your home, doing these big projects will be advantageous because you’re spending more time indoors, and you can see what needs improvement.
There are a lot of programs out there that can help with the costs of these home projects. Some will let you do your housing upgrade now and pay later, while others let you cash out now. If you have questions about these programs or want to learn more about how to increase the value of your home with these improvements, call or email me. I’m here to help!
