Our hearts are heavy for those impacted by the devastation of Hurricane Harvey. As Houston begins its long road to recovery in the wake of the storm, we are presented with the opportunity to help our fellow Texans. Let us build hope and help rebuild lives by supporting these local organizations providing much-needed relief to thousands across the state:
Hurricane Harvey Relief Fund
Houston Mayor Sylvester Turner and the Greater Houston Community Foundation have established the Hurricane Harvey Relief Fund which is accepting tax-deductible donations. In a statement, the Mayor confirmed, “We are getting calls from across the country and right here in our hometown, and the generosity of people who understand this disaster is truly amazing. Together, we can make a difference to those who will need extensive help to get back on their feet once this storm is over.”
