Using a business based on algorithms in a non-disclosure state like Texas makes it tough to figure out how much your home is actually worth. Most of us on the I-10 corridor have custom homes that aren’t like the house next door, and no algorithm has ever been able to tell you what your house is worth.
You need a local expert that understands the local market and what factors affect your specific house in that specific market. Don't look for a Z-buyer company. A local expert will get you the most money, the best value, and the quickest time.
You may think spring is the best time to put your house on the market, but even though inventory has increased, we still have a lot of sales going on right now. The Fed is supposed to raise interest rates next summer. That means buyers who can afford your house this year may not be able to next year. Even though it's sometimes inconvenient to have your house open during the holidays, you have serious buyers in the marketplace right now and fewer showings. You can get top dollar when you don't have as much competition on the market.
